ACKNOWLEDGEMEN TO COUNTRY
We would like to acknowledge the spiritual relationship between Traditional Custodians and this Country, which has inspired language, song, dance, and dreaming stories over many thousands of years. We pay our respects to the Elders, those who have passed into dreaming; those here today and those of tomorrow.
May we continue to walk peacefully together in gratitude, respect and kindness in caring for this Country and one another.
We would like to acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded. This was and always will be Aboriginal land.
ABOUT US
The Wellness and Learning Collective (WALC), founded in 2023, is dedicated to offering specialised professional supervision, tailored training, and support services to individuals, groups, and organisations in women’s health and the gender-based violence sector.
We invite businesses and organisations beyond the women’s health sector to connect with us to explore opportunities for collaboration. Together, we can empower and educate your teams, enhancing their understanding of and ability to effectively respond to gender-based violence both within the workplace and the broader community.
Through partnerships, we will help build the practical knowledge and skills necessary to address gender-based violence and women’s (inclusive of trans and non-binary) health, while also supporting the development of a sustainable work-life balance, ultimately looking after everyone’s wellbeing and psychosocial health.
